Michael Nielsen’s (somewhat critical) Notes on Effective Altruism. I particularly liked the framing of EA as an example of moral invention. I particularly agree with the discussion of sustainability. Some of the arguments lose their force if you ask whether there is an alternative ideology that does better on these factors.

Though he doesn’t think it goes far enough. Add him to the list of prominent economists from across the political spectrum that support land value taxation!
